Isabella excitedly packed up her school bag this morning, stuffed to the brim with her braided friendship bracelet Valentine cards [remember here?] for her 23 classmates, and a little something extra for her teacher as well:
I saw this sweet idea a while back floating around Pinterest, and I quickly pinned it for a holiday, party or school craft idea, here. I tracked down the original source with a full project tutorial, complete with detailed materials + measurements on studio j blog here [which I only modified slightly; I glued to two parts of the eraser top + side together for a closed and neatened up finish]. Outside of the package of Rolos chocolate + caramel candies, we had all of the materials at hand. Total Win; and a terrific lovely teacher's Valentine.
A bit last minute, we found ourselves just this morning printing up a few more Valentine's. Also an idea garnered from Pinterest, a sweet little arrow Valentine, made sturdy by a pencil; the printable is from Sweet Muffin Suite, here]. So we made up a small quiver for our Dalcroze Eurhythmic's class this evening.
