This Week, and it's Lovely-so-far Pace

On the heels of our uber-productive weekend, I feel like the Nate and I have hit a wonderful stride of productivity and play. I'm shockingly at peace with the wide-open schedule as I await the beginning of my semester's artist teaching residencies. Normally, I find myself fretting and scheming, and urgently ready to get going again.
Nate in the couch nest, taking in some Superhero movies.
I've turned that energy and available time into a variety of creative projects and endeavors. I've even allowed a few more minutes for movies, for reading novels, and I'm re-learning a little embroidery.

I'm also taking more time to be intentional with Nate's preschool, to sit beside Bella as she writes out her homework, and to enjoy our moments of freedom–like yesterday afternoon on the playground.

Winter break has never felt so warm.
