The very last days of our Summer break were jam-packed with play, laughter, and exploration during our 8th Annual Playcation.
This year marked the very first time that both of the Grand Dubs slated off full vacation from work for the entire time of our stay. The result? The most fun and and adventure-filled Playcation to date. We wrung out every glorious minute of blue skies and perfectly sunny warm Summery temperatures.
We took trips on the train to downtown Chicago, we visited a western town amusement park, and an arboretum where we went on a scavenger hunt for gigantic bug sculptures and made crafts.
We played at Lego Land and wore our Lego mini-figure costumes for the very last time [and were treated like rock stars].
We climbed trees, provoked water fights, and went to a carnival.
Most of all, we laughed and lounged, and spent every waking minute with the Grand Dubs for the most fabulous last hurrah of Summer!
